After not actively contributing to this site for almost a year, and having fully outgrown the SUGOI DESU NE~~ ^_^ side of me, I've determined that I hate every single one of you.

Yes you, the one who still enjoys Invader Zim, watches Bleach on Adult Swim (on whatever day they've moved you to so they can salvage any ratings they possibly can from the waning interest in "adult" anime on AS), wears cat ears, anime shirts or something with indecipherable japanese on it, or still does suggestive fan art of characters from an anime that was relevant in the fucking 80's which was arguably droves better when they WEREN'T on namek and didn't have a "Z" at the end.

I can see now why real artists tell you to get away from the anime shit. Because in the end, it's the most manufactured, droll, unintelligent mary-sue bullshit to ever grace a television. Considering Osamu Tezuka was just plagiarizing off of Walt Disney in the first place, it makes complete sense why this shit is utter cancer. DISNEY is cancer, let alone the mutated offspring of it.

You will never be a Manga-ka, as Japanese hate foreigners. You will never appreciate REAL art, as you will never have the taste for anything else but cutesy simplistic weirdly proportioned people that glitter and sparkle and look shiny all the time. You will never move to Japan and be successful, unless you're really tall and black, or you're willing to work a shit teaching job where little kids try and shove their fingers up your ass all the time because you're a fucking foreigner and they're raised to hate you.

I'm not even going to discuss the furry/anthro community on here because just their presence destroys every shred of credibility that this place could've possibly had that it deserves good artists.

Reading the comments in the past couple of months on "fan art" that I've done in the past absolutely disgusts me, as the same people who said my pieces look "really cool ^_^" have then commented on a piece of shit that looks like it was drawn by a 6 year old and says the same exact thing. There never will be constructive criticism on dA, which is something I came here naively looking for. There will never be a negative-inclusive ratings system on here, because obviously pre-teens think that if someone has something bad to say about their piece then they're a BAKA BAKA BAKA and probably are retarded for not appreciating their Sonic the Hedgehog MS Paint re-color that is "COPYRIGHTED MY CHAR DO NOT STEAL >".

I feel sad for the people who actually think they can go to art school by getting praised on dA daily. They will never have taken the foundation art courses in life drawing, in anatomy, in color, in composition, and still hand in their "portfolio" of glassy-eyed freakish abominations full of chains and zippers to a seasoned reviewer and expect to get accepted. And to the people who ARE in art school, but still draw anything related to anime as a "dirty secret" or because they feel that hearkening back to the old days of kawaii fandom, let me give you some advice: not only is drawing yaoi fan art or unoriginal character designs going to forever hold you back, but if you EVER build a respectable rapport with the art community and they find out you're drawing that shit, you will be shunned outright except by people who go to Anime conventions, and/or by "modern artists" who are trying to get respect for drawing the same character 4 times but with different clothes, hair and eye color and passing it off as something somehow worth the art community's time.

To sum this all up, I'm going to ConceptArt.org and Flickr.com, where at least I can progress in my art.
